DLP (Data Loss Prevention)

A set of tools and practices designed to detect and prevent sensitive data from leaving an organization's control.

DLP systems monitor data in motion (emails, uploads), data at rest (stored files), and data in use (copy-paste, screenshots) to flag or block potential leaks of sensitive information like customer records or intellectual property.

Want to actually work with DLP (Data Loss Prevention)? This concept is covered hands-on in our Cloud Security program — not just defined, but practiced.
